Assistant Professor, Information & Communication
The University of Wisconsin-Stout invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor in Information and Communication
Technologies (ICT). Anticipated start date is August 24,
Minimum / Required
- Terminal degree in ICT or related discipline at time of
- Undergraduate or graduate teaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
- Successful record of graduate teaching experience
- Online teaching experience
- Master’s program leadership
- Research agenda supporting program
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, especially those
supporting the M.S. and B.S. in Information and Communication
Technologies (ICT) programs. Conduct and disseminate research
related to the ICT profession. Engage in service to the
university and the profession. Full-time teaching load is 12
credits per semester.
Other responsibilities include: Facilitate online and face-to-face
learning environments; engage in interdisciplinary endeavors with
campus colleagues; maintain partnerships with industry; lead
continuous learning and development in the ICT field; advise
undergraduate and graduate students; engage in course and program
assessment of student learning; foster cultural diversity and

for online interactions and/or alternate time frames for teaching.
Faculty members teach, advise students, conduct research, assess
student learning and engage in service activities.

beautiful Chippewa River Valley, 25 miles west of Eau Claire and 60
miles east of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
